32. Vice-Admiral Taylor

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty what is the present number of married officers of the rank of lieutenant-commander, commander, and captain?

It is estimated that the numbers of married officers of the ranks, or relative ranks, of lieutenant-commander, commander, and captain are 970, 1,055, and 355 respectively.

Vice-Admiral Taylor

Can my hon. Friend say what proportion that bears to the total?

Mr. Shakespeare

Not without notice.
