asked the Minister of Labour when the Holidays with Pay Committee last sat; whether it has concluded its deliberations and presented its report; and when the report will be published?

Mr. E. Brown

The Committee is sitting this afternoon, and is actively engaged in the preparation of its report. The previous meeting was held on 3rd March.

Mr. Robert Gibson

Will the right hon. Gentleman do his best to expedite the publication of this report, as the Secretary of State for Scotland has explained that he cannot move in the matter as regards industrial works in Scotland until the report is out?

Mr. Brown

I shall have to leave it to the Committee.

Mr. Gibson

Will the Minister confer with his colleagues in regard to the matter?
