HC Deb 15 March 1938 vol 333 c213
46. Lieut.-Commander Fletcher

asked the Prime Minister the nature of any representations made by Dominion Governments relative to the Mediterranean situation and the Anglo-Italian conversations?

The Prime Minister

I am not in a position to add anything to the replies which I gave to questions by the hon. and gallant Member, by the hon. Member for Maryhill (Mr. J. J. Davidson), on 7th March, and by the right hon. Member for Hillsborough (Mr. A. V. Alexander) on 10th March.

Lieut.-Commander Fletcher

Is it the case that representations have been received, although it might not be advisable to disclose them?

The Prime Minister

There is constant communication between the Dominion Governments and this Government.
