HC Deb 14 March 1938 vol 333 cc24-5
51. Mr. Thorne

asked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that the name of the person has been published who gave him the telephone message that came from Italy on Sunday, 20th February; and whether he will now give the man's name?

The Prime Minister

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave on 28th February to the hon. Member for Kingswinford (Mr. A. Henderson) to which I have nothing to add.

Mr. Thorne

Will not the Prime Minister now say that it was not Sir Horace Wilson who delivered the message to him on that Sunday in connection with the Italian formula?

The Prime Minister

I have nothing to add to the reply.

Mr. Thorne

Will the Prime Minister say definitely that it was not Sir Horace Wilson?
