asked the Home Secretary what housing accommodation and equipment have been provided for the junior station inspectors in the Metropolitan police?

Junior station inspectors in the Metropolitan police force are not provided with any special housing accommodation or equipment.

Mr. Kelly

Are they permitted to live in section houses?

Sir S. Hoare

All ranks are entitled either to quarters or rent allowance in lieu, and that, of course, applies to junior station inspectors.
