§ 54. Lieut.-Colonel Sir Thomas Mooreasked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that riders have made regular use of the grass verge along the Kingston by-pass from Coombe Hill to Richmond Park ever since this road was constructed; and whether, before coming to any final decision about the widening operations, he will ascertain whether arrangements can be made to leave these riders at least a narrow track, so as to prevent their having to use the highway itself?
§ Mr. BurginI am sympathetic to this request and will look further into the possibility of providing these special facilities between Coombe Hill and Richmond Park before widening operations on the section actually begin.
