HC Deb 09 March 1938 vol 332 c1888
54. Lieut.-Colonel Sir Thomas Moore

asked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that riders have made regular use of the grass verge along the Kingston by-pass from Coombe Hill to Richmond Park ever since this road was constructed; and whether, before coming to any final decision about the widening operations, he will ascertain whether arrangements can be made to leave these riders at least a narrow track, so as to prevent their having to use the highway itself?

Mr. Burgin

I am sympathetic to this request and will look further into the possibility of providing these special facilities between Coombe Hill and Richmond Park before widening operations on the section actually begin.
