HC Deb 08 March 1938 vol 332 cc1713-4
52. Mr. Sorensen

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the amount of sugar drawback refunded for each of the years from 1928 to 1937?

Sir J. Simon

As the answer involves a table of figures, I will, with the hon. Member's permission, circulate it in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

Mr. Sorensen

Has the right hon. Gentleman any information as to the number and names of the firms to whom this refund has been given; and, if so, would be include it in the statement that he is circulating?
