§ 72. Mr. Windsorasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is now in a position to make a pronouncement with regard to the Northern Waters (Restriction) Order so as to relieve the anxieties of those engaged in the industry?
§ Mr. RamsbothamI would refer the hon. Member to the reply given on 19th May to a question by Private Notice on this subject by my hon. Friend the Member for South-West Kingston-upon-Hull (Mr. Law). The question whether the Order should continue to apply to the month of August is still under consideration and my right hon. Friend regrets that he is not at present in a position to make a statement.
§ Mr. WindsorIf I put a question down in two or three weeks' time, will the Minister be able to give any information on this matter, as there is a good deal of urgency about it, particularly in Hull, Grimsby and ports of that kind?
