HC Deb 27 July 1938 vol 338 c3094
46. Mr. Graham White

asked the Prime Minister whether he is now in a position to make known the Government's conclusions with regard to the van Zeeland Report?

The Prime Minister

In the circumstances explained by my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade in the course of the Debate on the Board of Trade Vote on 15th June last, the view of the Government is that action in the direction of following up the recommendations made by M. van. Zeeland must be deferred for the time being. The situation will, however, be kept under review.
