HC Deb 26 July 1938 vol 338 c2897
46. Mr. Mander

asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the serious situation in Europe, Palestine and the Far East, he contemplates consultation with the Opposition parties with a view to united action in the realm of Defence and foreign policy?

The Prime Minister (Mr. Chamberlain)

I would refer the hon. Member to the replies which I gave him on 18th November and 16th March last, to which I have nothing to add.

Mr. Mander

Would not the best contribution to national unity be the resignation of the Prime Minister himself?
