asked the Secretary for Mines whether, having regard to the fall of over 1,000,000 tons in our coal exports in the first six months of 1938 as compared with the first six months of 1937, he is taking any steps, in consultation with the representatives of the industry, to prevent a further fall in the coal export trade?
