HC Deb 04 July 1938 vol 338 c11
5. Mr. A. Henderson

asked the Prime Minister whether His Majesty's Government have decided what instructions will be given to the British representatives at the September meeting of the Bureau of the Disarmament Conference; and whether efforts will be made to secure by international agreement a measure of air disarmament and the limitation of the air bombing of civilian populations?

Mr. Butler

In reply to the first part of the question, no decision has yet been taken by His Majesty's Government. As regards the second part, I would refer the hon. Member to the Prime Minister's reply to the hon. Member for West Leyton (Mr. Sorensen) on 28th June.
