35. Mr. Day

asked the Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department the results that have been obtained by the officer of his Department who has been to New York to negotiate with the authorities of the forthcoming exhibition to be held in the United States of America?

The Secretary for Mines (Captain Crookshank)

I have been asked to reply. The object of the visit was to conclude an agreement with the Exhibition authorities, and this has been done.

Mr. Day

Can we be assured that the British exhibits in the United States will be more fitting than those originally sent to the Paris Exhibition?
