HC Deb 10 February 1938 vol 331 cc1252-3
45. Mr. W. Joseph Stewart

asked the Prime Minister when the report of the Royal Commission appointed to inquire into the question of the geographical distribution of the industrial population will be completed; and, when ready, will it be issued as a Command Paper to Members of this House?

The Prime Minister

I understand that the Commission has taken a good deal of evidence, but much remains to be heard. It is not possible to say when the inquiry will be completed. When it is ready, the report will be issued as a Command Paper in the usual way.
