HC Deb 10 February 1938 vol 331 c1253
46. Lieut.-Commander Fletcher

asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the many expressions of public opinion on the subject, he will now appoint a Select Committee to inquire into the subject of staggering holidays?

The Prime Minister

Evidence on this subject was given before the Committee on Holidays with Pay, and I think it would be advisable to await the report of that committee, which I understand is now in preparation, before deciding what further action may be necessary.
