§ Sir K. WoodI see no reason to modify the view expressed in the answer given to my hon. Friend the Member for Kidderminster (Sir J. Wardlaw-Milne) on 23rd December. I may, however, remind my hon. Friend that the Food and Drugs (Adulteration) Act forbids the sale to the prejudice of the purchaser of any article of food which is not of the nature, substance and quality demanded, and, further, makes it an offence wilfully to apply a label to any article of food which falsely describes it.
