asked the Home Secretary whether he has received a report from the Chief Commissioner of Police as to the estimated number of persons present at the meeting in Hyde Park on Sunday, l0th April?

Mr. Lloyd

Yes, Sir. The Commissioner of Police estimates that about 3,000 people were present when the meeting began at 3.30 p.m., and that by 5 p.m. about 7,000 people were present.
