HC Deb 13 April 1938 vol 334 cc1128-9
66. Mr. Liddall

asked the Minister of Transport whether he will consult with the local authority with a view to scheduling for widening the east side of Derby Street, Mayfair, leading from Little Stanhope Street, so as to reduce congestion in those two streets which are now being increasingly used, with Down Street as a relief short-cut from Piccadilly to Audley Street, Bayswater, and Maryle-bone?

Mr. Burgin

I should prefer to defer consideration of this suggestion until experience has been gained of the effect of the through connection from Curzon Street to Park Lane now in course of construction.

Mr. Logan

Is this alteration to be made for the convenience of the hon. Member?
