Mr. Mathersasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what has been the result of his inquiries into the refusal of the Edinburgh education committee to permit a tablet relating to Clarinda to be placed on the wall of Bristo school which occupies the site of the house in which she lived; and whether he can state the reason for this refusal?
