HC Deb 22 November 1937 vol 329 c850
47. Lieut.-Commander Fletcher

asked the Prime Minister whether he has any statement to make regarding the conversations between the Lord President of the Council and the head of the German Government?

The Prime Minister

No, Sir.

Mr. Attlee

Will the Prime Minister be in a position to make a statement with regard to these conversations if I put down a Private Notice question for Wednesday?

The Prime Minister

Perhaps the right hon. Gentleman will wait until tomorrow; I will let him know then. I have not yet seen Lord Halifax.

Mr. Attlee

I understood the Prime Minister to say that a statement would be made.

The Prime Minister indicated assent

.

Mr. Bellenger

While appreciating his reticence, may I ask whether the Prime Minister will assure the House that Lord Halifax has had good hunting in Germany?
