HC Deb 22 November 1937 vol 329 cc851-2
53. Mr. G. Strauss

asked the Postmaster-General whether the Committee set up to advise on the question of staff representation in the British Broadcasting Corporation has yet made its report?

55. Lieut.-Commander Fletcher

asked the Postmaster-General what is the present position regarding the report of the Director of Staff Administration of the British Broadcasting Corporation regarding the formation of a staff association?

Major Tryon

The report by the Director of Staff Administration is one of the matters being considered by the Committee. As my hon. Friend, the Assistant Postmaster-General, stated on 18th November in reply to the hon. Member for Romford (Mr. Parker), the Committee's report is now in draft form and is expected to be completed in the near future.

Mr. Strauss

May we take it that the report will be published, and that it will not be a private report to the Postmaster-General?

Major Tryon

Will the hon. Gentleman give me notice of that question?
