§ Mr. BrownA list of the Special Areas in South Wales and Monmouthshire is given in the First Schedule to the Special Areas (Development and Improvement) Act, 1934. For the reasons given in the reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Belfast, South (Mr. W. John Stewart) on 22nd February, 1937, it is not possible to give figures of unemployment in respect of each of those areas, but I am having such information extracted as is available and will circulate a statement in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
