HC Deb 23 March 1937 vol 321 cc2733-4
31. Mr. Hunter

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what arrangements are being made in Scotland to enable school children to receive milk when they are absent from school in connection with the celebration of their Majesty's Coronation?

Mr. Elliot

Where the necessary arrangements can be made locally for milk, which would normally be consumed in the schools, to be supplied to children assembled under proper supervision in connection with Coronation celebrations, such arrangements will be regarded as coming within the scope of the milk-in-schools scheme.
