Mr. Perkinsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether 1791 he is aware that an organisation known as the International League to Prevent the Export of Horses for Butchery were collecting money at the Olympia Horse Show on the evening of 18th June; and whether he proposes to make inquiries with a view to deciding whether proceedings should be instituted against this organisation or steps taken to prevent them collecting any more money from the public?

§ Mr. PerkinsCan my hon. Friend give an assurance:hat in future he will cause a very close watch to be kept on the activities of this society with the object of preventing them from extracting money from the public as soon as the Exportation of Horses Bill has received the Royal Assent?
