HC Deb 21 June 1937 vol 325 c833
32. Brigadier-General Brown

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he proposes to introduce a Bill to amend the Wheat Act, 1932, in view of the uncertainty created by the interpretation recently placed by the courts on the definition of wheat offals in that Act?

Mr. W. S. Morrison

Owing to the shortage of Parliamentary time the only amendments to the Wheat Act to be proposed during the present Session will be those necessary to give effect to the statement of agricultural policy which I made on 27th May, but I hope to introduce a Bill early next Session to deal with the point which my hon. and gallant Friend mentions, as well as various other matters in connection with the Wheat Act.
