§ The CHAIRMAN OF WAYS AND MEANS informed the House that the Committee on Group K of Private Bills not being appointed to meet until Tuesday next, the parties promoting the Hertfordshire County Council (Coffie Valley Sewerage, 1768 etc.) Bill, which was set down for consideration on the first day of meeting of the Committee, had appeared before him and proved that the evidence of Mr. Griffith John Griffiths was essential to their case, and that his attendance could not be procured without the intervention of the House.
§ Ordered, That Mr. Griffith John Griffiths do attend the Committee on Group K of Private Bills on Tuesday next, at Eleven of the Clock.
