HC Deb 09 June 1937 vol 324 c1767
Mr. Attlee

(by Private Notice) asked the Prime Minister, when the Government's proposals in regard to the new tax will be presented to the House.

The Prime Minister (Mr. Chamberlain)

I cannot yet say with certainty when the proposals will be available to the House, but my right hon. Friend hopes to be able to put the necessary Ways and Means Resolution on the Paper in the course of next week.
