HC Deb 07 June 1937 vol 324 c1423
21. Mr. Hopkin (for Mr. E. J. Williams)

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is aware of the serious state of the Ogmore River from Aberkenfig to its mouth; and what steps he proposes to take to clear the obstruction in the river bed and straighten its banks to abate the nuisance?

Mr. W. S. Morrison

The watercourse referred to forms part of the main river of the Mid-Glamorgan rivers catchment area, and responsibility for its maintenance as a land drainage channel rests with the catchment board for the area. I am bringing the hon. Member's question to the notice of the board.
