HC Deb 07 June 1937 vol 324 cc1417-8
48. Mr. White

asked the Secretary of State for War the present amount of the daily milk ration for enlisted boys?

Sir V. Warrender

The daily ration of milk for enlisted boys is half a pint a day in addition to a variable quantity required for hot beverages, puddings, etc. The boys at the Army Technical School, Beachley, receive three-quarters of a pint a day in addition to one-quarter of a pint for other purposes.
