HC Deb 12 July 1937 vol 326 c862
46. Colonel Nathan

asked the Prime Minister the general principles of economic policy to which His Majesty's Government have agreed with M. Van Zeeland that the latter should seek the agreement of a number of, and which, States?

The Prime Minister

As the principles in question have not yet been stated in a form agreed upon between M. Van Zeeland and His Majesty's Government, I am unable at present to add to the reply given on 7th July to the hon. Member for Kingswinford (Mr. A. Henderson).

Colonel Nathan

Will the right hon. Gentleman be able to make a statement on these large principles before the House rises for the vacation?

The Prime Minister

I could not say yet.
