HC Deb 07 July 1937 vol 326 cc348-9
54. Mr. Leonard

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many local authorities in Scotland have had conversations with the divisional officers of the Unemployment Assistance Board regarding the policy to be pursued in the application of rent rebates?

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Labour (Mr. Butler)

I have been asked to reply. I regret that the information asked for is not available. My hon. Friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Scotland is, however, writing to the hon. Member in answer to the question he asked on this subject during the recent Debate on the Estimates of the Department of Health.
