HC Deb 25 January 1937 vol 319 cc560-1
25. Mr. Hall-Caine

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether, in view of the increasing amount of clerical work involved for farmers as the result of the recent increases in returns and the introduction of the various marketing schemes, he will consider the desirability of introducing a scheme to place at the disposal of farmers, either gratis or at specially reduced rates, the services of experienced travelling clerks?

Mr. W. S. Morrison

I regret that I am unable to adopt my hon. Friend's suggestion.
