asked the Minister for the Co-ordination of Defence whether he has any statement to make regarding the Food Defence Department?

I have been asked to reply. I would refer the hon. Member to the statement respecting the scope and organisation of the Food (Defence Plans) Department which was made by my right hon. Friend the Minister for the Co-ordination of Defence on 2nd December in reply to the hon. Member for Norwood (Mr. Sandys).
