HC Deb 19 January 1937 vol 319 cc16-7
29. Sir Percy Harris

asked the Home Secretary whether he has received any report from the joint committee of the factory department and the national federation of employers' organisations on factory accidents among juveniles?

The Secretary of State for the Home Department (Sir John Simon)

The Joint Committee have drawn up a list of recommendations which have been embodied in a Memorandum. The National Confederation have issued this to all employers' organisations, urging them to do everything in their power to enlist the active support and co-operation of all employers in their respective industries in securing a diminution of the accident rate among juveniles. I am sending my hon. Friend a copy.
