asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he proposes to introduce legislation to amend the Cinematograph Films Act, 1927, and whether he will give particulars?

Dr. Burgin

I am not in a position to add anything to the answer which I gave on 8th December to the hon. Member for East Dorset (Mr. Hall-Caine).

Mr. Day

Will any legislation be introduced to amend this Act?

Dr. Burgin

We are awaiting the observations of the trade organisations on the matter.
