HC Deb 25 February 1937 vol 320 c2155
14. Mr. Creech Jones

asked the Minister of Labour whether, in view of the position in the Unemployment Assistance Board, where uniformity of treatment exists in the matter of holding staff association meetings on official premises, he will take steps to ensure that all staff associations in the Ministry of Labour, whether departmentally recognised or not, are afforded uniform facilities in connection with the holding of association meetings in Employment Exchanges; and, if not, will he state the reasons for his refusal?

Mr. E. Brown

No, Sir. The arrangements in my Department have been operative for a number of years, and I see no reason for altering them.
