HC Deb 11 February 1937 vol 320 cc574-5
52. Colonel Ponsonby

asked the President of the Board of Education whether there is such co-operation between his Department and that of the Secretary of State for War as will ensure that when new drill halls are built they may be available not only for military purposes but also for physical training, especially in new built-up areas where the necessary accommodation is seldom available?

Mr. Stanley

I am obliged to my hon. and gallant Friend for the suggestion, and I can assure him that the possibility of co-operation on the lines he indicates will be fully explored.
