HC Deb 11 February 1937 vol 320 c575
45. Lieut.-Commander Fletcher

asked the Prime Minister whether he can now announce the decision of the Cabinet regarding the future of the Fleet Air Arm?

The Prime Minister (Mr. Baldwin)

I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answer which I gave to him on 28th January, to which I have nothing to add.

Lieut.-Commander Fletcher

May I ask the right hon. Gentleman whether this matter is under consideration by the Cabinet or by a Cabinet Committee, and when it last came before whichever body is dealing with it?

The Prime Minister

Perhaps the hon. and gallant Gentleman will remember that I said a fortnight ago to-day that I was not in a position to make any statement on this subject, and to-day I have said that I have nothing to add to that answer.
