HC Deb 11 February 1937 vol 320 c557
11. Mr. Mander

asked the Minister of Labour whether, in view of the fact that numbers of unskilled labourers in South Staffordshire are not receiving the wages to which they are entitled by collective agreements, he will state what steps he is taking to secure the payment of proper rates; and whether publicity can be given to these rates by posting them up in Employment Exchanges?

Mr. E. Brown

In the area referred to by the hon. Member there is a very wide range and variety of industries. If he will be good enough to indicate to me the classes of workers to which he refers I shall be glad to communicate with him on the subject.
