HC Deb 11 February 1937 vol 320 c572
84. Mr. Leckie

asked the Minister of Transport for what reasons the draft Regulations dealing with the restrictions on horse-drawn vehicles in Regent Street and adjacent streets were submitted to the London Traffic Advisory Committee; why the Regulations were brought into force without the approval of this Committee; and in how many instances during 1936 draft Regulations were similarly submitted to the Committee and brought into force without their approval?

Mr. Hore-Belisha

The answer to the first part of the question is "Under Statute." The second and third parts are based on a misapprehension.
