HC Deb 08 February 1937 vol 320 c23
41. Commander Locker-Lampson

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether his attention has been drawn to Herr Hitler's recent neutrality assurances relative to Holland and Belgium; and whether he will seek an opportunity to invite the extension of these assurances to Denmark and Czechoslovakia?

Viscount Cranborne

I hardly think that the position resulting from the statement to which my hon. and gallant Friend refers is clear enough for me to be able to make any statement with regard to the second part of his question.

Mr. Thurtle

Does the Noble Lord attach importance to these assurances on the part of Herr Hitler?
