Resolution reported:
That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make further provision for obtaining statistical information with respect to the population of Great Britain and for purposes connected therewith, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any expenses incurred with the approval of the Treasury by the Minister of Health, the Registrar-General, the Department of Health for Scotland, or the Registrar-General of Births, Deaths and Marriages in Scotland in connection with the performance of their respective functions under the said Act.
