HC Deb 19 April 1937 vol 322 c1423
45. Mr. de Rothschild

asked the Prime Minister whether he will arrange that adequate opportunity is given for debate before any steps are taken to enforce the recommendations of the Select Committee on Medicine Stamp Duties?

The Prime Minister (Mr. Baldwin)

I am unable at present to make any further statement on this matter but, as my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer said the week before last, due weight will be given to all relevant considerations in connection with the Committee's report.
