asked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether any further developments have taken place in the situation in India; and whether any communication has passed between the Provincial Governors and the Secretary of State regarding the political deadlock which has arisen?

Are the Government taking note of the declarations of Mr. Gandhi, and especially the offer which is published in the Press to-day?
