§ 51. Mr. Price
asked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that, in a recent 344 speech in New York, the United States Secretary of State, Mr. Cordell Hull, called attention to the need for increased economic co-operation between the nations of the world as a guarantee of peace; and whether he will consider extending the scope of the agenda of the Imperial Conference next month to include this question?
§ The Prime Minister
The scope of the agenda of the Imperial Conference as already announced is, I think, sufficiently wide to admit the general discussion of this question if the Governments represented at the conference so desired.
