HC Deb 19 November 1936 vol 317 c1893
15. Mr. WAKEFIELD

asked the Minister of Labour whether he will take steps to remove the anomaly at present existing under the Unemployment Insurance Regulations whereby long period seasonal workers, such as ice-cream salesmen, are not entitled to receive benefits commensurate with the contributions made in respect of them and parallel with those obtained by workers engaged for a similar period in nonseasonal employment?

Lieut.-Colonel MUIRHEAD

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given to the hon. Member for Blackpool (Mr. R. Robinson) on 29th October, of which I am sending him a copy.
