The ASSISTANT POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Sir Walter Womersley)

1,796 ex-service men were appointed to permanent situations as postmen and porters during the year ended the 31st December, 1935. In addition about 2,900 ex-service men were appointed to other situations in the Post Office during the same year.
