HC Deb 18 November 1936 vol 317 c1767
6. Sir CHARLES CAYZER

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether it is the intention of His Majesty s Government to consult with the other signatories of the Nine-Power Treaty in regard to the integrity of Chinese territory as affected by Japanese policy in the Far East?

Mr. EDEN

His Majesty's Government certainly bear in mind the provision of the Nine-Power Treaty, to which my hon. Friend refers. They already communicate as occasion arises with other signatories of the Nine-Power Treaty in regard to events in the Far East and this practice will be continued.
