§ Mr. LEWISDoes that mean that the Government are not doing anything under the Act of 1928 which is already on the Statute Book?
§ Sir J. SIMONMy hon. Friend no doubt is aware of the provisions of that Act. The Act was put on the Statute Book but it was not assumed that it would necessarily come into operation at once.
