HC Deb 16 November 1936 vol 317 cc1319-20
32. Captain PLUGGE

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Health, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, what will be the approximate amount of seating accommodation it will be possible for his Department to provide on the Coronation route; and whether he will consider the desirability of holding some form of ballot for the allocation of some portion of this accommodation?

Mr. HUDSON

With regard to the first part of the question, I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the answer given by the Lord President of the Council on 5th November to a question by the hon. and gallant Member for Salford, South (Major Stourton). The question of the appropriate allocation is still under consideration.

Mr. LEACH

Could the hon. Gentleman say how many matters are now under the consideration of various Departments, giving the answers to the nearest hundred?

Mr. HUDSON

Not without notice.
